In the notification, it is said that light to moderate rain with gusty winds may occur temporarily in most places of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions. Along with this, moderate to very heavy rainfall may occur in some parts of the country. Day temperature may increase slightly and night temperature may decrease slightly across the country.

It may move further northwest. Due to its influence, deep convective clouds continue to form in the northern Bay of Bengal and coastal areas of Bangladesh. Meanwhile, heavy to very heavy rain may occur at some places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions till Sunday (September 16) morning under the influence of low pressure. Due to heavy rains, there is a risk of landslides in some parts of the hilly areas of Chittagong division.
