Thiruvananthapuram> Meteorological department said that widespread rain is likely in the state from today. The rains are due to the formation of a strong low pressure over the Southwest Bay of Bengal along the Northeast Sri Lankan coast. The Central Meteorological Department has informed that widespread rain is likely from today till Monday.
The Central Meteorological Department said that a strong low pressure will move in northwest direction till tomorrow morning and move towards Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coast and then move in west-northwest direction over Tamil Nadu-Puducherry and Kerala tomorrow and next day.
Heavy rain is also likely at isolated places.
