Baboons riding on the roofs of cars, wolves carefully watching the arrivals or lions resting in the shade. Monika Linkytė, Lithuania’s Eurovision representative, could observe such images from the windows of a bus in a safari park near Liverpool. It’s sad, but some species of animals here will no longer be seen in the wild, so the park staff is making every effort to preserve them for future generations.
