jpnn.comJAKARTA – Commander of the Joint Defense Region III Command (Pangkogabwilhan) Lieutenant General TNI Richard Tampubolon again showed his firm stance towards the Papuan Armed Criminal Group (KKB).
Lt. Gen. Richard reminded KKB to immediately release Susi Air pilot Capt Philips Mark Marthens.
“Immediately releasing Philips pilot Mark Marthens. “The pilot’s captivity actually really hampered the transportation of the OAP community (indigenous Papuans) including logistics supplies, especially in isolated districts,” said Richard as reported by JPNN Papua on Monday (1/4).
Not only that, the general with three stars on his shoulders also asked the KKB to stop the massacre of civilians.
“Stop the massacre of innocent civilians and stop using mothers and young children as supporters of the KKB operations,” he added.
Finally, Richard, who is the former Kopassus Danjen, gave the KKB an ultimatum to stop attacking the officers.
“I reiterate that the KKB should heed what I said, for the sake of realizing the land of Papua as a beautiful, peaceful and advanced paradise on earth,” said Richard.
As is known, since July 2023, Richard has been appointed Pangkogabwilhan III.
