The event turns 18, two days full of events all with free admission

Culture and innovation go hand in hand, understood as fundamental vehicles for the restart and the future. this is the essence of “Lubec – Lucca cultural heritage”the event organized by Promo Pa Foundation that Thursday 6 and Friday 7 October will become “of age”, celebrating the 18th edition of its history in the halls of the former Real Collegio, inside the historic center of Lucca. Two days full of events (all with free admission) that will see directors of the main museums in Italy and the world, economists, writers, philosophers, artists, administrators, managers, operators and experts in the sector confronting each other in the context of what for some time a pivotal event at a national level in the debate between public administration, business and the third sector.

At the center of the event, under the direction of Francesca Velani, the innovation of processes, products, technologies and society. With a focus on the role of culture as an engine of transition and the implementation of the NRP in all measures that interact with culture. Projects, visions, tools and results on ranging topics will be presented and compared from the relationship between culture and metaculture to the role of museums in the future; from the renewed alliance with design and industry to the social and cultural regeneration of the villages; from accessibility to the hybridization of genres for the growth of cultural and creative enterprises, up to new authors and new audiences for live entertainment. Among the many guests in the lineup, expected the presence of Christian Greco from the Egyptian Museum of Turin; Serena Tabacchi, co-founder of the Museum of contemporary digital art; Jeffrey Schnapp, American philologist, designer and historian of Harvard University; Roberto Ferrari, director of the Museum of science and technology in Florence; Dino Pedreschi, pioneer of Big Data; the historian and philosopher of science Stefano Moriggi; Maria Grazia Mattei, president of Meet digital center; Tiziana Maffei, director of the Royal Palace of Caserta; the artistic director of the China international museum Gaetano Di Gesu; Marcus Loeffler, founder of the Kunstkraftwerk Museum in Leipzig; Eike Schmidt, director of the Uffizi Galleries. “Lubec – says Gaetano Scognamiglio, president of Promo Pa Foundation – the showcase of change: the enhancement of cultural heritage evolves quickly and so does the whole world that revolves around culture. Museums are now open to digital and the use of the works takes place through experiential paths with immersive technologies.
