Lior Lubin (Reuven Schwartz)
A change on the lines in Ness Ziona. The team announced today (Thursday) the departure of coach Lior Lubin, who will not continue for a second season at the club. The club said: “The club would like to thank Lior from the bottom of his heart for his work and professionalism last season, and wish him much success in the future.” Eight in his place is Elad Hussein, who coached Hapoel Haifa and signed with the Oranges for two years.
Lubin was the fourth coach in the history of the Oranges in the Premier League after Nadav Zilbstein, Ofer Berkovich and Brad Greenberg. Ness Ziona finished the current season in tenth place with a balance of 12 wins versus 15 losses.
In addition, Ness Ziona qualified for the quarterfinals of the State Cup, and was eliminated by the one who finally won the cup, Bnei Herzliya.
