They were special months, with the victory of the Copa do Brasil, and I felt like I wanted to stay here longer. It’s a special moment in my career and in my life. My heart is from São Paulo and I really wanted to play with this shirt again. This has always affected me”, celebrated the player, who added.
“My dream has always been to leave at least one part in the history of this gigantic club. In the last few days, since the season ended, fans have always asked me if I was going to stay. And this affection was fundamental in the decision to stay. Whenever I’m on the field I try to represent the fans, and it will be like that for the next three years”, he added.

Now, Tricolor will count on Lucas to reinforce the team in the Supercopa do Brasil and CONMEBOL Libertadores disputes, in addition to Paulista, Brasileirão and the defense of the Copa do Brasil title in 2024.
