The woman who, despite her young age, has had bowel cancer and several surgeries in the past, is followed by almost thirty thousand fans and supporters on the social network. He talks openly about his illness, showing post-operative scars and the rawness of the insidious disease. It also encourages prevention. As a well-known person in the media, however, she does not avoid comments that she would not wish on anyone else. Especially in the situation she is currently alone in.

Lack of empathy…

“We still have a lot to learn about emotional intelligence. It’s not bad that it doesn’t happen to people… we all learn… but you need to understand that you shouldn’t transfer your pain to a person who is going through something difficult.” explains Lucie Levá and reacts to the messages she receives.

“Please don’t write to those sick, whether they are oncological or otherwise – my aunt died of it, my brother died of it, my sister died of it, because really a lot of the messages I receive start here. And it really is like spitting in the sick person’s face.” says Lucie Levá and further explains: “They’re worried about their lives, and when you trick them right there like that, people who died because of it…” Too bad to think…

My stomach hurts too…

Lucie points out that then, of course, the sick person automatically transfers the content of such a message to himself. “Every time someone writes to me that someone has died, it makes me sick and it doesn’t help me mentally at all. I would definitely omit this information from all sick people.” he admits with regret in his voice.

And for Blesk, she added that she had to read other monstrous messages and comments. “For example, that a lot of people have cancer, that I just want to be interesting. Or they ask me what symptoms I had, that they also have a strange stomachache. This happens to me several times a week.” describing.

And as the peak of all cruelty, he indicates another of the opinions: “They say people watch me just to see how I’m going to turn out,” concludes dejectedly a woman who is honestly trying to show everyone who cares what it’s like to live at such a young age with a disease with an uncertain prognosis.
