Organizers announce transport arrangements for Lusail Super Cup in Qatar Separate parking centers have been prepared for those coming from each region. Traffic restrictions have also been announced in central Doha since Friday afternoon.
Saudi club Al Ahly and Egyptian champions Al Zamalek will face off in the Lusail Super Cup on Friday at 9pm. The match will be held at Lucille Stadium, which is the venue for the World Cup football final. The stadium, which can hold 80,000 people, is sold out. Therefore, the organizers have made elaborate transport arrangements.
The metro is the easiest way for fans to reach the stadium, with Lucille QNB metro station less than a 10-minute walk from the stadium. Metro operation has been extended till 3 am. Gates open four hours prior to the match, those arriving in their own vehicles should follow the blue P signs for parking.
Those coming from Al Khor Expressway South, Luzail and Mirajeel E bound sections can use Park Zone H, those from Alkhor Expressway North and Mirajeel sections can use Park FG zones, and those coming from Lusail Expressway, Wadi Al Banat and North Duhail sections should use Park Zone CDE. At the same time, traffic control has also been announced in central Doha from 3 pm to 10 pm on Friday. During this time, commercial vehicles with black number plates will be diverted and ABC and C ring roads will also come under control.
