Lucknow: Lucknow Supergiants defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL. Lucknow beat Hyderabad by 127/5 who scored 121 runs for the loss of eight wickets. After the miserable defeat against Rajasthan Royals in the first match, now Sunrisers’ defeat against Lucknow

After winning the toss and batting first, Lucknow lined up the team led by spinners Krunal Pandya, Amit Mishra, Ravi Bishnoi and others. Krunal Pandya took three wickets after conceding only 18 runs in four overs. Amit Mishra conceded 23 runs and took two wickets. Ravi Bishnoi took one wicket and conceded only 16 runs. Yash Thakur took a wicket.

Pandya sent openers Anamolpreet Singh, Mayank Agarwal and skipper Aiden Markramina. Mayank scored eight runs while the captain scored zero runs. Yash Thakur brought Rahul Tripathi to the hands of Amit Mishra who reached one down. Tripathi was holding with Sundar. But Yash dismissed the star in the 18th over. In the next over, Amit Mishra took Sund to Deepak Hooda. Amit Mishra also dismissed Adil Rasheed who scored four runs in three balls. That catch was also for Hoodak. Umran Malik was run out by Hooda while Abdus Samad remained unbeaten.
