Lucy Ayoub continues to pick new roles and enters deeper into the world of acting. After moving to Keshet 12 and picking up her first acting role in Fauda, Ayoub will join the new Hot series “8200” and play an intelligence officer named Adi who serves in the considered unit.
The creators of the series are Amit Cohen and Asaf Bernstein, together with the producer Yoav Gross. The series will deal with “an international suspense story – inspired by real cases – about the fight against terrorism, which will include cyber and espionage”. This is the first Israeli TV series dedicated to 8200 and the Intelligence Division in general, with the closest example so far being “War Room”, which was created in 2005 by the future Prime Minister Yair Lapid, then a presenter and journalist.
Ayoub grew up in the broadcasting corporation and got the big jump when she hosted the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Jerusalem alongside Erez and Tal and Bar Refaeli. In the last year, she replaced Ido Rosenblum in the hosting of the entertainment “The Pursuit”. The exchange was made out of the corporation’s desire to use and grow talents identified with it (when Rosenblum is identified with several channels and mainly with Keshet 12). Since then Ayoub moved to Keshet 12 herself, when she started hosting Dancing with the Stars and the corporation announced that Rosenblum will return to host “The Pursuit” after only one season of hosting Ayoub.
