Face Rai for years and currently director of San Marino Rtv. He was 63 years old
Face of Rai for years and currently general manager of San Marino Rtv, Ludovico Di Meo died in Rome from a sudden illness. In recent days he had undergone a coronary operation. Discharged from the hospital he returned home where he fell ill.
Di Meo had a long career in Rai, face of Tg1, Tg2 of Uno Mattina. On 11 September 2001 it was he who broke the news of the attacks on the Twin Towers by hosting the extraordinary edition. Then one appointment after another until he became deputy director of Rai Uno in 1009. Born in Rome in 1959, he is survived by his wife Paola and their two daughters Federica and Flaminia.
