Luis Suárez wants to enjoy their ‘last stage’ as players with Messi

Uruguayan striker Luis Suárez, who moved to Inter Miami this season, said he was “very happy” to have reunited in Florida with his friend Lionel Messi and “to be able to enjoy this last stage” as a professional football player.

After leaving Grêmio in December, the 36-year-old veteran striker joined former Barcelona teammates Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba in Miami.

In Hong Kong, in the middle of a pre-season tour in which he will face a selection of players from the local league, Suárez said he was very pleased with the decision and with the reunion with the Argentine star.
