President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva landed Monday morning in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he will participate in the 15th summit of the BRICS, the bloc formed by the emerging powers Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. In addition to the founding members, some 35 heads of state and government will attend the event, which will focus on the possibility of expanding the BRICS.
