It is the second similar attack in just over a week, after the 71-year-old teacher Elizabeth Tenreiro died on March 27 after being stabbed to death in a Sao Paulo school, an attack for which a 13-year-old teenager is being held. years.
In a meeting with ministers at the end of the afternoon, Lula da Silva called for a minute of silence for the victims.
The Brazilian president described the tragedy hours before as “unacceptable” and described the attack as “an absurd act of hatred and cowardice.”
