Lulu Group set to expand into Uganda Lulu Group is planning to open a food processing center in Kampala, the capital of the African country of Uganda. The new move comes after Ugandan Prime Minister Robina Nabanja invited the Lulu Group to invest in Uganda’s business sector.
The Ugandan government has allotted ten acres of land in Entebbe, Kampala, where Uganda’s only international airport is located, to build a food processing unit.

An investment of Rs 750 crore is being made for the expansion of the food processing and logistics center etc. Lulu Group’s new operations are expected to benefit the Ugandan agricultural sector and farmers. Through this, around 800 people will get employment.
