jpnn.comJAKARTA – As many as five PDI Perjuangan cadres admitted to being trapped and tricked into giving their signatures, which was used by certain lawyers to challenge the validity of the SK for the PDIP DPP Management for the 2024-2025 period.

One of the plaintiffs, Jairi, apologized to the General Chairperson of the PDIP DPP Megawati Soekarnoputri and all members of the party with the white-nosed bull symbol throughout Indonesia.

Jairi conveyed this in a press conference in Cengkareng, West Jakarta, Wednesday (11/9). Jairi was accompanied by four of his colleagues, namely Djupri, Manto, Sujoko, and Suwari.

“I represent my friends, first of all I apologize to the General Chairperson of PDIP, Mrs. Hajah Megawati Soekarnoputri, along with the entire PDIP family throughout Indonesia,” said Jupri.

“On this evening’s occasion, I would like to state or clarify that we feel trapped by the lawsuit letter addressed to our general chairman, we were only asked to sign on a blank paper, after which we were given a reward of Rp. 300 thousand,” added Jairi.

He admitted that he and his four friends met with Anggiat BM Manalu at a campaign team post. There, they were asked to provide support for democracy.

Because they agreed with democracy, Jairi and his friends were willing to give their support. When given a blank white paper to sign, they were willing. They did not know that the blank white paper would later be used as a power of attorney for a lawsuit.

“We signed the blank paper, there was no direction or explanation given to us. We were just asked to sign,” Jairi explained.
