Lyricist Vivek quits Dhanush Maaran movie for creative differences: Songwriter Vivek says that Dhanush Maaran has left the film due to differences of opinion.
‘Maran’ is a movie starring Dhanush. The film is set to release on March 11 on the Hotstar ODT site. The film is directed by Karthik Narain.
Smriti Venkat plays the heroine in this film. Also, Samuthirakani, Mahendran and Krishnakumar have played important roles. GV Prakash Kumar composed the music for the film. The trailer of the film has been released recently and has raised the expectations of the fans on the film.
Songwriter Vivek is said to have written the script and screenplay for the film. While the verses released in the trailer were well received by the fans, the fans were appreciative of the wisdom.
In this case, songwriter Vivek has said that I did not write the script and screenplay for the Maran film. In his Twitter post on the subject, Maran was delighted to see so much love on the trailer and dialogues. As many of you have pointed out, Maran emerges as a stylish, commercial and emotional film. I’m looking forward to seeing the film just like you. But those verses are not mine. That fame will go to the one who wrote the verses. Due to creative differences I left Maran as a dialogue and screenwriter. Thanks to the film crew who respected my decision. Today I am part of one of India’s greatest films as a dialogue and screenwriter. I will always remember that Maran was the starting point.
