International jallikattu competition will be held tomorrow (Jan.17) morning at Alankanalluar, Madurai district. Tamil Nadu Youth Welfare and Sports Minister Udayanidhi Stalin arrived in Madurai today to watch the match.
Udayanidhi Stalin was received at the airport by Commercial Taxes Minister Murthy and Finance Minister Palanivel Thiagarajan. After this, Udayanidhi Stalin went to the house of former Union Minister M.K.Azhagiri in Satyasai Nagar, Madurai. Minister Anbil Mahesh Poiyamozhi and others also went.
Alagiri welcomed them and put on a shawl. Alagiri’s wife, Gandhi Alagiri, also welcomed her with much joy. Udayanidhi Stalin also donned a shawl for his great grandfather M.K.Azhagiri with a smile.
The meeting was a meeting of respect and family ties. Speaking about the meeting, M.K.Azhagiri concluded by saying, “The younger son is coming to see his grandfather.”
