The highly anticipated M19 Coastal Regional Tournament is entering a crucial phase, with the “A” division set to play its third date this Saturday, November 18th, and the “B” division preparing for rescheduled and upcoming contests. Referees have been assigned for the upcoming clashes, signaling a commitment to fair play as teams battle for regional supremacy.
“A” Division set for Saturday showdown
The “A” level of the tournament will take center stage this weekend,featuring several key matchups. According to tournament organizers, the following games are scheduled:
- CRAI vs.CRAR (12:00 PM – Leonard of Río – USR / Assistants: Fernish Faith and Crying Crysan – USR)
- Jockey CR vs. Duendes RC (11:30 AM – Juan Moyano – E. Ríos)
- Students vs.Santa Fe RC (11:30 AM – Fernando Sánchez Meade – E. Ríos)
- Old Resian vs. A. Rosario (11:30 AM – Joaquín Zapata – USR)
Currently, Jockey CR leads Zone 1 with 10 points, followed closely by Old Resian at 9. CRAI and Estudiantes trail with 8 and 7 points respectively. In Zone 2, A. Rosario holds a slight advantage with 5 points, while Duendes RC is close behind with 4.Santa Fe RC and CRAR are currently at 2 and 1 point, respectively.
“B” Division Reschedules and Looks Ahead
The “B” division is navigating a slightly diffrent schedule.Teams will first recover the second date match between Uni (SF) and Tilcara next Tuesday, October 21st, at 7:30 PM, officiated by Fernando De Feo (USR) with assistants Leonardo Del Río and Federico González (USR). The third date of the “B” division is then scheduled for Saturday, October 25th.
The upcoming matches include:
- Ger – uni (r)Rowing vs. Uni (SF)
- Logarithm vs. Los Caranchos
- Tilcara will have a bye.
In Zone 1 of the “B” division, Rowing currently leads with 6 points, followed by GER with 5 and tilcara also with 5. Logarithm is currently at 0 points. Zone 2 sees a tie at the top between Uni (R) and Uni (SF), both with 5 points, while Los Caranchos have 2 points.
