Apple Upgrades Mac Pro with USB-C Accessories

Apple today updated its website to indicate that the Mac Pro now ships with a USB-C to USB-C charging cable in the box, replacing the previous USB-C to Lightning cable. Additionally, the high-end desktop now includes the new USB-C versions of the Magic Mouse and Magic Keyboard accessories in the package.

No other changes to the Mac Pro have been announced at this time beyond the transition of the Magic accessories and the charging cable from Lightning to USB-C.

Apple originally released the current Mac Pro featuring the M2 Ultra chip in June 2023, with pricing starting at $5,999 in the United States.

Furthermore, Apple introduced USB-C versions of the Magic Mouse, Magic Keyboard, and Magic Trackpad accessories alongside the new iMac equipped with the M4 chip earlier today. These accessories are also available for separate purchase in both white and black color options.
