Actor Macaulay Culkin (44) tells that his son Dakota (3) identifies with the main character in the Christmas classic, namely “Kevin”.

Macaulay Culkin, known from the “Home Alone” films, shares that his own children are already big fans of the Christmas movie classic. In an interview with E! News, Culkin reveals that especially his three-year-old son Dakota immerses himself in the film.
– He thinks he is “Kevin”, says Culkin, adding:
– I ask: “Do you remember you sled down the stairs?” He says: “Mhm, yep.” I say: “Do you remember he had yellow hair?” and he says: “Yeah-a, yep.”
According to Culkin, his son even thinks he is “fighting against burglars”.
– “You’re a liar who lies,” I usually say to him. “That was me!”, Culkin says.
The actor says he happily lets his children live out their imagination. He explains that he usually sits with them and explains what is happening in the movie because they are too young to follow the plot on their own.
Culkin believes they will be shocked the day they actually realize that it is their father who plays the main character in the Christmas classic.
Furthermore, the actor admits that it took time before he himself embraced the film. However, he now thinks it is fun to be part of something that has become a Christmas tradition for many families.
