Maccabi Haifa found a foreign right defender? According to a report in Sweden, right-back Daniel Sundgren Maris Thessaloniki is on the safe path for the Greens, with only small details missing until the signing of the Israeli champion. The move is expected to become official very soon.

The 31-year-old Swede signed for the Greek club in 2019 after leaving AIK, when he also once represented the team in May 2021 and sat out more games on the bench. The player is ending his contract soon and in Sweden they claim to sign with Barak Bachar’s team.

The Greens are expected to officially part ways soon with Frenchman Mikael Alphonse, and in his place should come the Swedish player who recorded 28 appearances in his local league this season (33 in all competitions), scored one goal and cooked three more. He also has one appearance in the Conference League qualifiers this season.
