Maccabi Haifa marked the Maccabi Netanya midfielder, Aden Kartsev, as the leading candidate to replace Neta Lavi, who will soon sign with the Japanese Gamba Osaka.
Carmel does not intend to pay Maccabi Netanya the price tag set for Kartsev, but will be willing to pay an amount ranging from 1-1.2 million euros as they paid for Dean David, Ali Muhammad and Mavis Chibuta.
In order to make the deal attractive for Netanya, it is expected to include players as well. Ben Shahar is wanted by Netanya and several other teams and the Diamonds will get priority.
In addition, Netanya has tried many times to attach the midfielder Maor Levy, who may be included in the trade, as well as the young winger, Nehorai Yafarah, who returned from the loan in Hadera and has an offer from Ironi Tiberias. Currently in Haifa they are waiting with the offer and he may find himself as part of the trade. At this stage it is too early to understand what format they will go through.
Another option is Aviel Zargari, who is supposed to make the way from Beitar Jerusalem to Maccabi Haifa, in exchange for waiving the debt on Jordan Shua. The professional team will be willing to give him up in order to see Karatsev join.
In the meantime, the sport channel learned that Aviv Avraham, midfielder of Maccabi Netanya, was offered to the Greens. Avraham ends his contract with Diamonds at the end of the season and he may leave as early as January.
