Maccabi Haifa will host the Italian Juventus tonight (Tuesday, 19:45) as part of the group stage of the Champions League. The team from Turin will not hold training at the Sami Ofer Stadium, and is expected to leave the country tomorrow morning.

So far, Maccabi has lost in its three games in the group stage: 2:0 to Benfica away, 3:1 to PSG at home and 3:1 against Juventus away, and Barak Becher’s players will try to get first points tonight. Unlike the previous games, Maccabi is expected to go up in a 4:3:3 formation, with Dolev Haziza missing from their ranks who was injured in the warm-up before Saturday’s game against Bnei Rayna.

The Israel Police are preparing for the game, when from 16:30 hundreds of police officers, bouncers and security guards will be deployed in and outside the stadium in order to maintain order and security and regulate traffic. Tonight’s traffic regulations:
– The access roads to the stadium will be blocked from Route 4 to Rotenberg Street and the Kastra intersection to Ezer Weizman, Rotenberg and Ya Hasportaiim streets, as will the entrances to the Neot Peres neighborhood. From 5:30 p.m. only residents will be allowed to enter through Ezer Weizman and Ya Ya Hasportaiim streets, and from Route 4 turn right towards Beit the book, and it will not be possible to park in Naot Peres for someone who is not a resident of the neighborhood. There will be strict and increased enforcement regarding parking in places that are not according to the law and vehicles will be towed.
– For those coming by private car, you can park in the parking lots next to the stadium – Hot, Intel, Shaar Aliya, p13 and the beach parking lots. Those coming from the south will head for parking lot P6.
– Entrance to the stadium parking lots P4, P2, P1 and P5 is only permitted for ticket holders, and must be presented at the checkpoints. No entry will be allowed without a token.
– There will be no road works in the vicinity of the stadium, Benaot Peres and on roads 4 and 2.
– It is recommended to use public transportation – Matronia No. 1 and 4.
