A report published today (Wednesday) in the Spanish ‘Mundo Deportivo’ claims that Maccabi Tel Aviv is among the teams that are interested in joining Tournica Shanglia for next season. As you may recall, the player parted ways with CSKA Moscow recently after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and moved to Virtus Bologna until the end of the season.
According to the report, Barcelona interested in the player’s services is still the leading European option, along with Fenerbahce, but also the Yellows and Real Madrid following the Georgian forward (30, 2.06).
It was further argued that Shangalya himself prefers first and foremost to exhaust the options and try to return to the NBA. As you may recall, the Georgian played in the Brooklyn and Chicago uniforms in the past. Now, it will be interesting to see what the player chooses for the next goal in his career.
