UEFA announced over the weekend that it fined Maccabi Tel Aviv 29,000 euros in memory of the crowd rioting in the game against PSV Eindhoven 1: 1 in Bloomfield in the Conference League.

The Yellows were fined 15,000 euros for throwing objects at the Dutch players, which also led to the game being stopped and the players selling the pitch for a few minutes. Maccabi Tel Aviv was also fined another 14,000 euros for blocking access passages in the stands.

Maccabi Tel Aviv feared a more severe punishment, as the game was stopped by the referee following the throwing of objects from the stands, and evaded the punishment of closing stands or games without an audience next season in the various European settings.

At the same time, financially, this is considerable damage. 29,000 euros is equivalent to about 100,000 shekels.
