Following the appointment of Vladan Ivic as coach, Maccabi Tel Aviv will begin its preparations for the 2022/23 season when it convenes for the start of training on 20/06 and leaves for a training camp in Mirlo (Netherlands) on 27/06/06/07, according to the team announcement.
During the camp, the team will play three training matches with two of the rivals already determined – Almania Aachen (Germany) and Westerlo (Belgium). Ivica’s players will hold the first tool trial in the match against Aachen (29/06), which finished last season in 12th place in the fourth division in Germany.
On 02/07, Maccabi will host Westerlo, who qualified for the senior league in Belgium this season. The match will take place at the home stadium of the Belgians – Het Kuipje. The Yellows will hold another training game towards the end of the camp, with the opponent and the date to be announced later.
About a week after returning to Israel (14/07), the first official game of Maccabi Tel Aviv will take place, which will host Maccabi Netanya in Bloomfield (20:30) as part of the Toto Cup.
