The Elche CF coach, Pablo Machín, admitted, after losing the game against Madrid by four goals, that “the best thing is to admit that we have not been well”. “It has to hurt us, but we have to go through the duel as soon as possible,” he said, acknowledging that they had faced the best club in the world. Even so, he insisted that “we could have been a little better despite the adverse circumstances.”
