A phrase that risks annoying more than one … Emmanuel Macron said on Wednesday before the Council of State that it is necessary to “always pay attention” to the “election” of France.
“The people in power today show themselves through the election which must always be observed because it is the first reality in any democracy”, he pointed out during the re-entry of the Council of State, at the risk of causing an uproar a new one from left following the legislative elections.

Emmanuel Macron, who appeared in political weakness after his decision to dissolve the Assembly, also reaffirmed that he is the “guarantor of the monarchy” of the Republic and the “independence” of the judiciary.
