French President Emmanuel Macron called a crisis meeting of ministers on Thursday after the second night of protests over the death of a 17-year-old boy shot by police in Nanterre, west of Paris.

Hundreds of French people took to the streets after a 17-year-old was shot during a police stop in Paris. The officer shot the teenager and was taken into custody on Tuesday after the boy died in hospital.
Naël was in the car with two other people when they were stopped at a police checkpoint, according to the prosecutors involved in the case.
