Emmanuel Macron will not speak on July 14 in order to take stock of the 100 days to relaunch the five-year term, but will speak well “in the coming days”, the Elysee said on Wednesday. On April 17, by decreeing “a hundred days of appeasement” and “action” to end the pension crisis, President Macron had made an appointment on National Day for “a first assessment”. He only took part in the traditional presidential interview twice on this date, over his six years in office.
