The city of Montreal hosted the 10th edition of the French-speaking Parliament from July 4 to 9 with 80 young French-speaking people. Two young Malagasy people were able to achieve positions of responsibility in the French-speaking Youth Parliament. Lalaina Amaralda Imitsinjolavitra was appointed vice-president of the Committee on Education, Culture and Communication, Jaspierre Toavina John Solofohanitra the rapporteur of the Committee on Parliamentary Affairs.
The French-speaking Youth Parliament helps train responsible citizens based on the model of parliamentary democracy. This parliamentary simulation measures in real conditions within the French-speaking area the civic responsibility of each elected official in the future. It is also a way to assess the level of participation of young people from Africa, Europe, Asia and America in favor of solidarity.
Lalaina Amaralda Imitsinjolavitra debated the theme of influencers and the supervision of their activities within the French-speaking world. For his part, Jaspierre Toavina John Solofohanitra had to debate the importance of French in our century for the promotion of the Francophonie and its various daily uses.
