Andy Cohen Calls Being Labeled a ‘Troublemaking Queen’ By Madonna ‘a Thrill and an Honor’

Andy Cohen, host of “Watch What Happens Live,” is still savoring the moment after Madonna called him out during her stop in Brooklyn on her Celebration Tour. The 55-year-old Cohen posted a video on Instagram and captioned it, “I’m a life-long Madonna fan, so it’s a thrill and an honor to be called a ‘troublemaking queen’ by the Queen of Troublemaking. I BOW! Also — go see the new tour. It blew me away!! What a great night. Can’t wait to go back. #TroublemakingQueen.”

During the stop on Saturday, December 16, Madonna noticed Cohen in the front row and jokingly threatened him by saying, “If you say one more bad thing about me on your show, you’re gonna get in so much trouble.”

Cohen responded to the singer with enthusiasm, screaming, “I love you,” and sharing the video of the interaction on Sunday, Cohen also posted various moments from “WWHL” of when he gushed over the singer by awarding Madonna with his “Mazel of the Day.”

The late-night host is an avid fan of Madonna, and he shared that he plays a Madonna song “every 75 minutes” on his “Andy Cohen’s Kiki Lounge” radio station. Despite receiving a not-so-nice text message from Madonna earlier this year, Cohen continues to be a steadfast supporter of the pop star.

“Madonna still has not done the show. I hope she does,” he revealed. “I’m actually kind of over it because in my Notes app, I was keeping a long list of interview questions for her in case she ever did the show, and she’s kind of answered a lot of it.”

The back-and-forth between Cohen and Madonna reveals a fun and playful dynamic, and it’s clear that Cohen will remain a devoted fan.
