Madonna is postponing her new tour due to start in mid-July in Canada, her agent announced on Wednesday June 28. The 64-year-old American pop megastar is recovering from a “severe bacterial infection” which forced her to be hospitalized in intensive care, adds Guy Oseary.
“Her health is improving, but she remains under medical care” et “we are waiting for a full recovery”, he wrote on his Instagram account.
The “Celebration” tour is set to stop in Detroit, Chicago, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Denver, Atlanta and Boston, among other cities, and its first leg was scheduled to end Oct. 7 in Las Vegas. According to his manager, the postponements of dates will soon be communicated to spectators who had purchased tickets.
