Chennai: The Madras High Court has sent a notice to actor Dhanush in a paternity case. Kathiresan, a native of Melur, Madurai, had approached the High Court claiming that Dhanush was his son. The court issued the notice on a petition alleging that the documents submitted by the actor in the case were forged.

In the complaint, Kathiresan alleges that Dhanush is their son who left home as a child. Against this, Dhanush had submitted documents including his birth certificates. Dhanush submitted documents proving that his father was Kasturirajan.

Kathiresan approached the Judicial Magistrate’s Court alleging that these documents were forged. However, the court rejected the petition. Kathiresan had filed the appeal alleging that the Judicial Magistrate’s Court had dismissed the petition before the corporation authorities could examine the authenticity of the documents and submit a report. The High Court had directed to send a notice to Dhanush seeking an explanation.
