On the 14th at 2:10 pm, the school’s Rainbow Club will gather to witness the spaceship launch, providing the students with a unique and invaluable educational experience. As a testament to their excitement, the school has also commissioned a painting on the school wall, depicting the LVM-3 rocket and the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft, complete with a lander and rover, which will land on the moon. The artwork aims to cultivate an interest in space exploration among the students.

In conjunction with the launch, a photo exhibition showcasing the remarkable achievements and events of ISRO will be held at 2:15 pm, just before the spaceship takes off. The school, in collaboration with the corporation, has arranged for the students to watch the Chandrayaan-3 launch live on the school’s SMART BOARD from 2:25 pm onwards.

Notable dignitaries, such as the Madurai South District Education Officer, Corporation Education Officer, Education Patron, Councilors, Corporation Head of Education, School Management Committee members, and parents, will be present alongside the students during this momentous event.

In a delightful gesture, the students of Singarathoppu Municipal Corporation Middle School also sent a heartfelt greeting message to the director of ISRO via postcard, showcasing their enthusiasm for the space mission.

The teachers of the school expressed their views, stating, “Scientific adventure and inventions are within reach. To demonstrate that these achievements are indeed possible, the municipal administration has organized this program to ignite the students’ interest in science, particularly through witnessing major scientific events such as spacecraft launches.”
