Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said Wednesday he was “ready to present 100% of the records” of the elections in which he was proclaimed re-elected against opposition candidate Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia, who denounces fraud and claims to be the winner.

“I have said, as political leader, son of Commander (Hugo) Chavez, that (the alliance) the Great Patriotic Pole and the United Socialist Party of Venezuela are ready to present 100% of the records. They will find out very soon because God is with us and the evidence has already appeared,” Maduro told reporters at the headquarters of the Supreme Court of Justice.

“I am willing to be summoned, questioned, investigated in all its aspects, and investigated by the electoral chamber as the presidential candidate who won Sunday’s elections,” he added.

Maduro has appealed to the Supreme Court to introduce an appeal related to the electoral process that “compares all the elements of evidence” and summons the candidates and institutions involved in the process.

“I have brought an electoral appeal (…) so that the electoral chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice can address this attack against the electoral process,” he said.

The National Electoral Council (CNE), which declared Maduro the winner with 51% of the votes, has not published the details of the vote count.

The opposition led by María Corina Machado and her candidate González Urrutia claimed fraud and said they had copies of 84% of the records proving their victory.

The CNE also denounced that on Sunday there was a hack of its automated voting system. Maduro claimed that there was an “attempted coup d’état using the electoral process.”

The president’s announcement sparked widespread protests across the country, leaving at least 12 dead, dozens injured and more than 1,000 detained, including political leaders accused of terrorism.
