Magic in music in the Sol dell’Alba concert by the Orchestra Filarmonica Pugliese at the Teatro Mediterraneo in Bisceglie – Telesveva Notizie

An authentic magic in music, always new and always different, capable of accompanying the large audience in the transition from night to day, with the breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Theater of Bisceglie overlooking the sea making the event even more exclusive.

The sixth edition of Sol dell’Alba is now archived, the concert that saw the Orchestra Filarmonica Pugliese on stage with the Polish Maestro Piotr Jaworski conducting an impressive 70-piece ensemble. Spectators were enchanted by a program that ranged from Mascagni to Čajkovskij, passing through Rossini, with a special tribute to Puccini in the year of the centenary of the death of the Italian composer.

Fairy tales and stories were the leitmotif chosen for the 2024 edition, which took place on the night of wishes, that of San Lorenzo. And, just like a wish that comes true, the Filarmonica Pugliese, from the Teatro Mediterraneo, unfurled a large flag with the colors of Italy and Germany to announce that it had been invited – the first orchestra in the history of Puglia – to perform in the prestigious Herbert Von Karajan Hall of the Berlin Philharmonic, one of the most important theaters in the world for symphonic music. The event will be held on December 11.

The satisfaction of the artistic director of the Orchestra Filarmonica Pugliese, Giacomo Piepoli.

With the sun now risen, breakfast with coffee and “sospiro”, the typical dessert from Bisceglie. The 2024 edition of Sol dell’Alba was also characterized by a special memory, that of the first violin of the Francesca Carabellese Orchestra who passed away prematurely last March.
