Haripad: Mahakavi Kumaranashan’s 100th death anniversary ‘Ashan Smriti’ has started at Ashansmarakam in Pallana. Thursday will conclude with children’s art competitions, public assembly and art performances. The death anniversary celebrations began on Wednesday morning with floral tributes at Kumaranashan Smriti Mandapam. A.M. Arif M.P. The inauguration was done. Kumaranashan Memorial Committee Chairman Ramapuram Chandrababu presided.
In the seminars Dr. Sri Narayanaguru Center for International Studies Director. MA Siddique, Director, Kerala Literacy Mission Prof. A.G. Olina, Nangyarkulangara T.K.M.M. College Principal Dr. P.P. Sharmila presented the topic.
Kuripuzha Sreekumar inaugurated the poet conference. S. Vinod Kumar presided. Children’s art competitions on Thursday 10 Minister Saji Cherian will inaugurate the Kumaranashan death centenary conference at 3.30 p.m. Ramesh Chennithala MLA will preside.
Aashan Centenary Lecture Series Inaugurated by Minister P. Prasad will perform. Prof. V. Madhusudan Nair will be the chief guest.
