Because, the account is suspected of spreading hoaxes or false news about rumors that he was having an affair.
The news that Mahalini reported to the police has been confirmed by the Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi.
He said that Rizky Febian’s wife registered the report since early 2024 with the number LP/B/I/2024/SPKT POLDA METRO JAYA.
“The victim around 2023 saw a TikTok account that allegedly slandered and defamed the victim,” said Kombes Ade Ary, Monday (23/9).
Mahalini reported a criminal violation of Article 27 A in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph (1) and/or Article 27 A in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph (6) of the Electronic Information and Transactions Law.
In the report, he included several pieces of evidence, one of which was a screenshot of the TikTok account that slandered him.
The case began when the account in question accused Mahalini of having an affair with a man.
