Colombo: The Supreme Court of Sri Lanka has announced that the travel ban imposed on former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and former Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa, the brothers of former Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, has been extended till September 5. The decision was taken while the case against the Rajapaksas and the other accused was pending. The petition was filed in the Supreme Court on July 13. Mahinda and Basil cannot get out of the country because of the cost.
