Mahindra to launch electric cars in July 2022

by time news
The demand for electric vehicles in the country has been steadily increasing in recent times. This was followed by the introduction of electric products by leading two-wheeler manufacturers and four-wheeler manufacturers who are actively involved in the production of electric vehicles.

In that vein, Mahindra Group is now making its debut in the electric four-wheeler segment. Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra & Mahindra Group, recently made the announcement of this important move.

Mahindra and Mahindra Group last year announced the launch of its ambitious Born Electric Vehicle platform. This platform will be a unique EV framework that is considered to be important for the future of the manufacturer in the electric mobility space. Meanwhile, M&M has officially announced that ‘Born Electric Vision’ will be released in July this year.

Mahindra Group’s electric vehicle is expected to hit Indian roads by July 2022. The new arrival is expected to compete with Mumbai-based automaker Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai and MG Motor, which are already in the EV segment.

It is also said that Mahindra Born Electric may be the compact SUV form factor in the affordable segment as it is a consumer-centric brand. This electric SUV is designed in Oxfordshire, England. Anand Mahindra tweeted, “We are imagining a new world. And the first children born in this new world are restless.”

Coming soon July 2022.” Mentioned in the tweet.

Apart from this new EV, Mahindra is converting its popular SUV XUV300 to an electric vehicle. And like all other OEMs, Mahindra invests heavily in sustainable mobility. It is also worth noting that it has partnered with Hero Electric to develop a range of electric two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
