by time news

The Pequenos Cantores da Maia released, today, March 19th, an original and unreleased song, especially dedicated to Father’s Day.
The song “SABES DO QUE EU GOSTO” was made public, this Tuesday, on the official page of the Municipality of Maia, on Facebook, in video clip format, in an action that aims to pay tribute to all parents.
The theme was interpreted and recorded by the Municipal Children’s Choir, of which the Mayor, António Silva Tiago, is the Patron and great enthusiast of the Little Singers.
With lyrics by Mizé Rouxinol and music by Victor Sampaio Dias, artistic director of Pequenos Cantores da Maia, the song addresses, in simple and easily assimilable language, the essential aspects that characterize the figure of the father, especially the present, attentive and affectionate father.

You know what I like (Song dedicated to his father)

When the night falls,
I forget the tiredness,
waiting for my father,
and your hug.

II.
Play a song,
for mom to sing,
that your heart,
It’s our place.

III
Chorus:

Do you know my name
and what day was I born
you know what I like
and how I like you.

IV.

Variation.

I don’t always understand everything the father says, but if I hear him say it, I’m happy.

V.

The best gift,
what can you give me,
is the smiling look
and the kiss at bedtime.

VI.

Chorus:

Do you know my name
and what day was I born,
you know what I like
and how I like you.

VII.

Chorus:

Do you know my name
and what day was I born,
you know what I like
and how I like you.
