Continuing to sum up the results of the outgoing year, we can confidently say that 2021 in the sports life of the Tver region turned out to be quite fruitful. Our athletes have won many striking victories, having declared themselves not only at the Russian, but also at the world level.
Standing apart, no doubt, is the achievement of Vasilisa Stepanova, who won the silver medal in rowing in the double-swing without helmsman competition at the Tokyo Olympics. This was the first medal of the Russian national team in such competitions. One of the sexiest women in the country, the jumper Daria Klishina, also took part in competitions. She failed to qualify with two spades and was injured in the third attempt.
Skier Natalya Nepryaeva pleased with her performances last year. Throughout the 2021 season, she showed excellent results.
