In particular, on March 1, the Main Radio Frequency Center (GRC) subordinated to Roskomnadzor published a tender for 6.2 million rubles on the public procurement portal. for the purchase of imported data storage systems (DSS).

As stated in the technical documentation, storage systems must work on American Intel processors and the Microsoft Windows Server 2019 Standard operating system. Procurement participants should be small and medium-sized businesses. Applications must be submitted by March 9th.

In GRCHTS Kommersant reported that the company “is switching to the use of domestic data storage systems, but the replacement of infrastructure elements takes place in accordance with their readiness and operational characteristics.” Roskomnadzor did not respond to a request.

Intel today, March 4, suspended the supply of products to Russia and Belarus, as reported on its website. “We are working to support all of our employees in this challenging time, especially those with strong ties to the region,” Intel said in a statement.
