The Zonal Coordination 7 of the Ministry of Public Health (MSP) informs the public that, in order to improve the quality of health services, since July 18 of this year, maintenance has been provided to the operating room, childbirth and sterilization of the Basic Hospital of Zumba, province of Zamora Chinchipe. There is a contingency plan that will ensure uninterrupted care.
The delivery room will work in the hospitalization area of the same health facility, while the hospitalization area will be located in the outpatient clinic of the Zumba Health Center, which will offer its services to users as normal.
In addition, care is coordinated with hospitals in the Comprehensive Public Health Network. In case of referrals and according to the pathology, users will be referred to the Vilcabamba Hospital, IESS Loja Hospital, Isidro Ayora General Hospital, among others.
We ask the public for understanding for the inconvenience that may be generated. The objective of this intervention is to strengthen health services and improve the quality of care.
