Richard Dixon, president and vice president of operations at Mattel, said: “We are very proud to have the Disney princesses back and to ‘break the ice’ of Disney for Mattel. As a global leader in the dolls sector, we look forward to bringing our unique approach to the Mattel Playbook for brand management, product and marketing expertise, and uncompromising attention to detail and quality to create innovative and inspiring series for these iconic stories and characters. ”

Stephanie Young, president of Disney’s Consumer Products, Games and Publishing Division, said that the courage and compassion found throughout the stories and characters of Disney princesses and ‘Break the Ice’ continue to inspire fans around the world. Founded in 1954, Mattel is a toy powerhouse, with brands such as Barbie and Fisher-Price. As mentioned, the two companies have collaborated many times in the past: the movie “Toy Story” from 1997 is a real commercial for Mattel, starring almost exclusively her toys, and since 2006 one of Mattel’s most successful toy series is based on Disney “Cars” movies .
