The concept of people’s participation means ‘collective participation’ in the implementation of government policies. The use of people power is at the core of implementing the policies of Prime Minister Modi-led governments in populous countries like India. Preventing mistakes from happening by actively encouraging people to do their best as they use people power; Prime Minister Modi has made it clear that the problems that may arise during the implementation of the policies will be brought to the attention of the government and also encourage others to help the administration.
Negotiation: A Device for Better Governance
People’s participation is incomplete without its corollary, people’s dialogue. The essence of true participatory governance depends on analyzing the problems and discussing with the people periodically to understand the situation on the ground and recommend measures to deal with them. It involves implementing policies, following them philosophically, and knowing public opinion. Prime Minister Modi’s government is focusing on making people’s lives easier, empowering them and maintaining a constant dialogue between the people and the government.
A good example of this is the Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme. After hearing the views of the farmers and negotiating in a way that could bring about a big change, Prime Minister Modi launched this scheme in 2016 to ensure sustainable agriculture by integrating two major schemes for crop insurance.
Age of people-oriented development
It is an undeniable fact that Prime Minister Modi has been a huge success in encouraging the people in the shop line through his efforts. Not once, not twice… whenever the Prime Minister calls, his efforts have realistically succeeded. However, when it comes to the efforts made for the holistic development of the people, the people take the Prime Minister’s words as scriptures and act on them. Prime Minister Modi’s commitment as a leader is outstanding in formulating policies, making their benefits reach all people and engaging all citizens through his vision and governance. In particular, ‘Clean India Movement, Jal Jeevan Movement, more than 200 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine’ have achieved record.

Every episode of the show is a reminder of Prime Minister Modi’s unwavering belief in the transformative power found within every individual. The Prime Minister’s call for domestic toy manufacturing as part of the ‘Self-reliant India’ movement is also unique. ‘Democracy is not just an agreement to run a government for five years…in fact, it is people’s participation’ – PM Modi PM Modi’s unwavering faith in the people of the country has continued to pay off unimaginably well. It is only when democracy is considered truly successful that the government’s policies reach the people at the bottom. So, PM Modi’s call is always relevant; Participation by all leads to prosperity for all.
