Malabar Gold and Diamonds: Global Expansion Plans and Rising Turnover of Rs 51,218 Crore

Kozhikode: Leading jewelery brand Malabar Gold’s annual turnover in the global market has risen to Rs 51,218 crore. A jewelery brand based in Kerala has achieved phenomenal success at the global level in three decades. The brand has an extensive retail expansion plan across the globe with an aim to become the global leader. Currently, Malabar Gold and Diamonds has 345 showrooms in 13 countries.

It is planning to expand to more places in Europe. There are plans to open more showrooms in existing countries like US, Canada, UK and Australia.

100 new showrooms will be opened within a year. 7000 additional employees will be hired for this purpose.

The operation will be extended to states like Jharkhand, Goa, Assam, Tripura and Jammu and Kashmir. U. A. E, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Singapore, Malaysia, U. S. Presently there are showrooms in A, Canada, UK and Australia. Malabar Group Chairman M. P Ahmed said.
